  • The Green Market was born in 2008 in our country as part of the dream and need of a people group. These people have different occupations. They were thinking about to create a place to interchange ideas, actions, products, and food. It was a meeting point among friends, local producers who were dedicated to the organic agriculture, and consumers. To sum up, they wanted to support a “Sustainable Life” Style in San José.

Nowadays, it is not only an Organic Market, but a meeting place that includes the community. Here, every kind of people can create connections and develop within a healthy and friendly environment, promoting the long-term health, the sustainability, and the care of our alimentary systems and Costa Rican communities.

Besides the products’ selling, a cultural schedule is offered, delivering live concerts, Yoga, workshops, lectures, discussion groups, and other artistic and cultural manifestations. You can visit it each Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Aranjuez Sports Center Park in San José. It is also in Ciudad Colón, every Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at “Mercado Viejo” (Old Market). In both places, the visitors can enjoy delicious and healthy food.   More information: https://www.facebook.com/FeriaVerde/

  • This is a collection inspired by the traditional Costa Rican costume and by the color and designs of the Costa Rican oxcart, which is the national symbol for culture, art, peace and work, as well as Heritage or Humanity.

"These dolls are made out of pure love, and they carry a message of peace, freedom, and all the sweet emotions I feel while creating them, and which I hope to convey to you" explains its designer Laura Soto Loaiza, in Costa Rica.
